Sizing

How do I find my size?

Our garments are unisex and designed with a medium fit. We recommend sizing up if you prefer an oversized fit. A full size guide with chest measurements is available on each product page and our sizing guide. 

Do your sizes run true to size?

Generally yes, but as each piece is a medium fit, we'd always suggest checking the measurements on the product page and sizing guide rather than going purely by label size.

Care Instructions

How do I care for my embroidered garment?

To keep your embroidery looking its best, we recommend washing inside out on a cool wash (30°C). Avoid tumble drying where possible — lay flat or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the embroidery.

Will the embroidery fade over time?

With proper care, our embroidery is designed to last. Washing inside out and avoiding high heat are the two most important things you can do to keep it looking sharp.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver across the UK.

International shipping is something we're working on — sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear when it launches.

How long will my order take?

As each piece is made to order, please allow 2 working days for production, plus delivery time stated for your chosen delivery method. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are £3.50. We offer free delivery on orders £50 and over.

Can I track my order?

Yes — once your order has been dispatched you'll receive an email with your tracking information.

Customisation

Can I request a specific breed outline?

We offer a range of breed-specific outlines on our back silhouette detail. If you can't see your breed listed please get in touch via our socials or at hello@thebettermess.com. We're always looking to expand our range.

It may take us slightly longer than our standard 2 day production timescale to get this completed for you, but we will update you throughout the process on an expected timeframe. 

What if I have more than one dog breed/name that I want to include on my t-shirt customisation?

Please get in contact with us at hello@thebettermess.com before you place an order so that we can discuss with you placement and sizes.

Can I personalise the slogan on my garment?

Currently our slogans are fixed designs, but we're very excited that personalisation on slogans is something we're currently working on for another collection. Watch this space and follow us on our social media or via our email newsletter to keep up to date for any announcements.
